Personal Use License Agreement

Here's the short version:

     You May:

  • Download your purchased files

  • Print for your own personal use

  • Reprint if your copy is lost, worn, or damaged

  • Save backup copies on your own devices

  • Enjoy the artwork for your own personal use​

     You May Not:

  • Share digital files with others

  • Sell, redistribute, or give away the files

  • Claim the artwork as your own

  • Use the artwork for commercial purposes without permission or an appropriate license

  • Upload the artwork or files to AI training, image-generation, or similar systems

About This License

When you purchase a digital product from InnerWhim Studio, you're not purchasing the copyright to the artwork. Instead, you're receiving a license that allows you to enjoy and use the product in specific ways.

Our goal is to make these permissions clear, easy to understand, and fair to both you and the artists who create the work.

If you're ever unsure whether a particular use is permitted, we're always happy to answer your questions.

What Is Personal Use?

A Personal Use License is intended for your own personal enjoyment.

Unless otherwise stated, each purchase includes a license for the personal use of the individual purchaser.

Ownership of the artwork and all associated intellectual property rights remains with InnerWhim Studio.

What You May Do

With a valid Personal Use License, you may:

✔ Download and save your purchased files to your personal devices.

✔ Print copies for your own personal use, as permitted by the product.

✔ Reprint a product if your personal copy becomes worn, damaged, or accidentally lost.

✔ Enjoy the artwork in your home or other personal spaces.

✔ Keep backup copies of your purchased files for your own use.

✔ Use the product in any manner specifically described on the individual product page.

Uses That Require Additional Permission

The following uses require a different license or our prior written permission:

  • Sharing digital files with others

  • Emailing, uploading, or distributing digital files to others

  • Posting downloadable files online or otherwise making them available for others to download

  • Using artwork for a business or commercial purpose

  • Using artwork for marketing, advertising, or promotional materials

  • Using artwork in classrooms, therapy practices, counseling practices, libraries, nonprofits, or other organizations beyond the scope of a Personal Use License

  • Incorporating the artwork into products or designs for sale

  • Modifying the artwork and redistributing it

  • Claiming the artwork as your own

  • Using the artwork or digital files in artificial intelligence training datasets, image-generation systems, machine-learning models, or similar technologies

  • Any use not expressly permitted by this license

 

Copyright & Ownership

All artwork, illustrations, character designs, written content, and digital resources remain the intellectual property of InnerWhim Studio and are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the copyright or any other intellectual property rights.

 

Helping Others?

Many of our customers are teachers, therapists, counselors, librarians, nonprofit organizations, and other professionals who may wish to use creative resources to support and encourage others.

Because those uses often involve multiple people or use in a professional or organizational setting, they may require a different license than personal use.

Commercial Use

If you'd like to use our artwork in connection with a business, product, publication, brand, event, marketing campaign, or other commercial project, please contact us before using the artwork.

We offer additional licensing opportunities for many commercial uses. Reach out! 

 

License Violations

Unauthorized copying, distribution, resale, commercial use, or other misuse of our artwork or digital products may result in termination of this license and may constitute copyright or other intellectual property infringement.

InnerWhim Studio reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.
