InnerWhim Studio is built around original ideas, characters, illustrations, designs, and creative resources.

We love sharing that creativity with you, and we're grateful when our work finds a place in your home, your life, or the work you do with others.

This page explains how InnerWhim Studio's creative work is protected and how you may use it.

Copyright & Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all original artwork, illustrations, character designs, graphics, written content, digital resources, photographs, website content, and other original creative works created by InnerWhim Studio are owned by InnerWhim Studio and protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Purchasing an InnerWhim Studio product does not transfer ownership of the copyright or other intellectual property rights in the underlying artwork, illustration, character, design, or creative content.

Simply put: you own the physical product you purchase, but InnerWhim Studio continues to own the creative work featured on it.

​

Digital products are licensed rather than sold and may be used only as permitted by the license associated with the product.

​

Personal Use

Eligible digital products generally include a Personal Use License unless otherwise stated.

That license allows the individual purchaser to enjoy and use the product for their own personal use while InnerWhim Studio retains ownership of the underlying artwork and intellectual property.

Helping Others

Teachers, therapists, counselors, librarians, nonprofit professionals, faith-community professionals, and other helping professionals may be eligible for our Annual Helping Others License.

​

This license provides one individual professional with additional permission to use eligible InnerWhim Studio digital products they purchase directly with the people they personally teach, counsel, support, or serve.

​

The Annual Helping Others License does not transfer ownership of the artwork or digital files and does not provide commercial, organization-wide, or multi-user rights.

Commercial Licensing & Partnerships

Interested in using InnerWhim Studio artwork or creative resources in connection with a product, publication, brand, event, marketing campaign, merchandise, packaging, or another commercial project?

Please contact us before using the work.

Commercial permissions are not included with the purchase of a physical or digital product or with a Personal Use or Helping Others License.

​

We welcome inquiries about appropriate commercial licensing and creative partnerships.

Sharing InnerWhim Online

We're delighted when people enjoy InnerWhim Studio and want to share our work with others.

You may share or repost content that InnerWhim Studio has made publicly available on our website or official social media channels when the sharing method preserves the original post, attribution, or link back to InnerWhim Studio.

Please do not:

• Upload or distribute purchased digital files

• Post full-resolution artwork or downloadable resources in a way that allows others to copy, print, or download them

• Remove or obscure copyright notices, signatures, watermarks, trademarks, or other identifying information

• Present InnerWhim Studio artwork or characters as your own

• Use our artwork or characters to promote a business, product, organization, or service without permission

• Modify our artwork and distribute the altered version without permission

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Unless expressly authorized by InnerWhim Studio in writing, InnerWhim Studio artwork, illustrations, character designs, written content, digital resources, and other original creative work may not be uploaded to, incorporated into, or used to train artificial intelligence systems, machine-learning models, datasets, image-generation systems, or similar technologies.

Our work may not be used through such technologies for purposes including reproducing, imitating, modifying, or generating derivative versions of InnerWhim Studio artwork or characters.

​

Character Names, Branding & Trademarks

Certain InnerWhim Studio names, logos, character names, collection names, phrases, graphics, and other brand elements may function as trademarks or otherwise be protected under applicable intellectual property law.

Use of InnerWhim Studio branding or character identities in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization is not permitted without our prior written permission.

Nothing on this website grants a license or right to use InnerWhim Studio trademarks, branding, logos, or other brand identifiers except as expressly permitted in writing.

What Isn't Allowed

Unless expressly permitted by an applicable license, written agreement, or applicable law, InnerWhim Studio creative work may not be:

• Copied or reproduced for distribution

• Shared or redistributed as digital files

• Resold

• Used commercially

• Incorporated into products or materials for sale

• Used in advertising or promotional materials

• Modified and redistributed

• Presented or claimed as someone else's work

• Used to create unauthorized derivative works

• Uploaded to AI training, image-generation, machine-learning, or similar systems

Purchasing a product does not grant permission for these uses.

Reporting Unauthorized Use

We appreciate hearing from you if you believe InnerWhim Studio artwork, characters, products, or other creative work is being copied, sold, distributed, or used without authorization.
